Meet the Dentists at DentCare Now - Fairfax, VA
Two Howard University grads. One shared mission: dentistry that shows up when it matters.

Dr. Rasheeda Johnson, DDS
FELLOW & MASTER, ICOI
BOARD-ELIGIBLE, AMERICAN BOARD OF IMPLANTOLOGY
AAIP MEMBER
BOTOX CERTIFIED
NDA 40 UNDER 40
Dr. Johnson’s mother will tell you she knew early on that dentistry was her daughter’s calling. While other kids were grossed out by loose teeth, Dr. Johnson was the one wiggling hers on purpose. When they finally came out, she kept every single one. The tooth fairy never stood a chance.
At age 10, she learned she needed braces, only to be told her insurance would not cover them. That moment stayed with her. It sparked a commitment not just to become a dentist, but to advocate for patients who are often overlooked by the system. After wearing braces four separate times herself, she developed a deep understanding of both the clinical and emotional side of dental care.
As she entered the profession, one question kept coming up. Why was there no “Minute Clinic” for dentistry? Why was it so hard to find care for something as urgent as a toothache, especially on evenings or weekends? Instead of accepting the gap, she set out to solve it.
Today, more than a decade into her career, Dr. Johnson has built something truly different. Her practice is grounded in warmth, honesty, and accessibility. Patients know her not just for her skill, but for her ability to make them feel at ease. Many find themselves laughing so much they forget they are in the chair. Extractions are actually her favorite procedure.
Outside the office, Dr. Johnson enjoys traveling, is learning how to slow down, and will be the first to admit she could probably floss more often.
Schedule an appointment today and experience dentistry done differently.
Dr. Dominique Bonner, DDS
BOTOX CERTIFIED
NDA 40 UNDER 40
Dr. Dominique Bonner brings a sense of calm and precision to every case she touches. Her approach to dentistry is both detail oriented and deeply educational, one that patients consistently describe as reassuring. She is the doctor who pulls up your X rays, walks you through exactly what she is seeing, and makes sure you leave with a clear understanding of your oral health.
Born and raised in Illinois, Dr. Bonner discovered her passion for dentistry at a young age through her love of helping others smile. She later moved to Washington, D.C., where she earned both her undergraduate degree and Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Howard University College of Dentistry. She went on to complete her General Practice and hospital dental residency at Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center in New York, further strengthening her clinical foundation in comprehensive and emergency dental care.
It was at Howard University where she met her now business partner, Dr. Johnson. Though they graduated two years apart, they have remained in each other’s orbit ever since. Over time, it became clear that their contrasting personalities and shared standards of care were exactly what DentCare Now needed to grow into what it is today.
Dr. Bonner specializes in crowns, bridges, and restorative dentistry and is the driving force behind DentCare Now’s same day crown capability. She is also certified in administering BOTOX® for both facial aesthetics and TMJ related pain, expanding her ability to provide functional and cosmetic relief for her patients.
Outside of clinical care, she serves on the Board of Directors for Lynn’s Gift, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing empowerment, resources, and enrichment to the community.
In her personal time, she enjoys traveling and fitness and is exactly who you would expect, steady, thoughtful, and often the most prepared person in any room.
