Same-Day Emergency Care for Alexandria Patients
Old Town to Fairfax in About 30 Minutes
From Old Town Alexandria, the typical route takes I-395 north to I-495 west, then exits onto Route 50 toward Fairfax. The trip runs 25 to 35 minutes most of the day. Rush hour on I-395 can stretch it, but our office holds same-day slots open every day, so calling ahead almost always means we're ready when you arrive.
No Emergency Premium. No Add-Ons.
Most patients tell us they tried their regular dentist first and couldn't get same-day. Or they got a quote elsewhere that came with a lot of add-ons they weren't expecting. We post our price list at the front desk, you get a written estimate before any treatment begins, and there's no upsell. Just the emergency you came in for.
If You Were Sent From an Alexandria ER
Inova Alexandria and other Alexandria-area emergency rooms regularly discharge dental patients with antibiotics and pain medication, then tell them to see a dentist as soon as possible. Bring your discharge paperwork and any prescriptions, and we'll pick up where they left off. We can handle the actual dental treatment they couldn't, same-day.

Questions Alexandria Patients Ask Us
Why drive 30 minutes out when there are dentists in Alexandria?
Most Alexandria patients call us because their regular dentist couldn't see them same-day, or they wanted transparent pricing before they sat in the chair. The drive against rush-hour traffic flow is usually faster than waiting days for a closer appointment. And we don't charge an emergency premium for being open. Can you handle my emergency if I haven't been to a dentist in years?
Yes, every day. We don't lecture, we don't ask why you waited, we just get you out of pain. Plenty of our Alexandria patients ended up here because they'd been putting things off and finally had an emergency that forced the issue. Wherever your mouth is, that's where we start.Do you see kids from Alexandria for dental emergencies?
Yes. We see children from 6 months and up for dental emergencies. Laughing gas is available for kids who are anxious or in pain. For routine pediatric cleanings and checkups, we recommend finding a dedicated pediatric dentist, but for emergencies, call us.
